The Archive (1920's Style) - Short Film
(Collaboration with Noah Boggan)
This was a fun class experiment in which I sought to recreate the style of classic silent-era comedies, in the vein of Chaplin and Keaton. The assignment was to show an evolution in filmmaking from film history. We wrote a short script and filmed two versions, this being the first part. The joke is a but hard to follow as this was really meant as an inside joke for our film professor, Steve Snediker, and a film he had directed. It was a fun joke for the class, and I hope the broad comedy here still works for those who don’t have all the context.
